Week 2

I've been late to start the blog this season. We're into Week 2 and already have missed on sloppy Jets-Patriots games but hereon I will provide my reviews and opinions on all of the games. Here's my take on week 2 games:

Thursday

NY Jets 10-13 NE Patriots
Not my prediction. I had hoped Patriots would beat Jets easily and by wide margin but new and inexperienced corp of wide receivers wouldn't hold on to the ball. A lot of missed 3rd downs and red zone chances made the games forgettable. Only bright spot for Jets was their defense.

Sunday

SL Rams 17-20 ATL Falcons
I'm betting on explosive offense of Falcons led by Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Tony Gonzalez. The Rams' defense is pretty sturdy so it's going to be gritty game.

CLE Browns 14-24 BAL Ravens
I expect Flacco and co. to overcome opening day humiliation and win this fixture.

CAR Panthers 21-28 BUF Bills
Bills looked strong on opening day and should have won against Patriots but I will take this fixture. Panthers and Cam not looking so good offensively.

MIN Vikings 21-20 CHI Bears
The only sure thing on this game is AP's going to run wild again. I expect Vikings to take it away.

WAS Redskins 28-33 GB Packers
One of my favorite fixtures this weekend. RGIII should find his rhythm and Packers will continue to play their awesome football. Expect a score fest.

TEN Titans 13-28 HOU Texans
There's no way Titans will win this game. With super defense and offense Texans should secure a routine win.

MIA Dolphins 20-28 IND Colts
I expect Colts to show up stronger than the opening day and secure a win against Dolphins.

DAL Cowboys 34-28 KC Cheifs
Cheifs look stronger. Alex Smith is a very good QB and Jamaal Charles' a workhorse. I still expect Cowboys to win on the road.

SD Chargers 24-27 PHI Eagles
Chargers can't seem to close the game. Eagles on the other hand look determined and in hurry. It's going to pretty close match-up but I expect Eagles to edge past Chargers.

DET Lions 28-24 ARI Cardinals
Lions should take this away with talents like Calvin Johnson and Reggie Bush at their disposal.

NO Saints 35-21 TB Bucaneers
Brees and co. should be able to edge this match-up with their high octane offense and improved defense.

DEN Broncos 34-35 NY Giants (Match of the Week)
Yes Peyton was invincible on opening day whereas Eli and co. games their game away with turnovers. I'm sure Giants will come back better and win this one in a nailbiting match.

JAC Jaguars 17-20 OAK Raiders
Pryor looked good against Colts. Two bottom teams. Raiders should win this at home. I expect Raiders to the most improved team this season.

SF 49ers 28-24 SEA Seahawks
This going to be another nail-biter. High expectations is on these new blooming QBs and I believe 49ers will edge 'Hawks.

Monday

PIT Steelers 14-17 CIN Bengals
This is the match-up I'm least excited about. I expect Bengals to win this at home.
